I have dozens that range from Ursula LeGuin's incredible "Steering the Craft" to Susie Bright's fearless "How to Write a Dirty Story" and I realized that hey, why not post the extremes? Both are challenging and will take you places you never thought you could go. Dare to try them both.

	Mary is one of the finest writers I know.  Elegant, transparent prose, incredibly evocative language, and I'm in love with her settings.  If I get to be half as good a writer as she is I'll count myself blessed.
